![]() **I should note that the Perry Lane is not located on/near River Street, which is the big tourist destination in Savannah, but rather the hotel is situated in the heart of downtown, close to the historic squares the city is known for, as well as lots of coffee shops and restaurants. We were able to have dinner at The Emporium Kitchen and Wine Market, go upstairs and feel trendy with a few cocktails at Peregrin, the rooftop bar, and hang out late night at Wayward, the “neighborhood watering hole.” And have I mentioned the rooftop pool? This was Elizabeth’s favorite part of the whole trip! A great place to let the kids blow off steam, or just relax and enjoy a frose for yourself. The on-site restaurants and bars each have a character all their own. We were there on Elizabeth’s second birthday and the staff was so great and greeted her with a cupcake upon arrival - she was immediately sold! This is a great spot when you are in the area by Forsyth Park as most of the other rooftops are by the river.Hands down, The Perry Lane Hotel was amazing, especially if you have kids in tow! It was almost brand new when we were there and we were in awe! The service was top-notch, the staff so, so friendly, the location was perfect (and we are big on location) and the amenities make it so you never have to leave if you don’t want to. The wood paneling makes you feel like you are in your own treehouse. Perch is located at Local 11 Ten and is right off the south side of Forsyth Park. Rocks on the Roof image courtesy of Marriott Perch at Local 11 Ten Grab a drink and some truffle fries to enjoy the river views. Rocks on the Roof is located at The Bohemian. This is definitely one of the bigger rooftop options when it is more than just two of you. Top Deck is located above The Cotton Sail Hotel and offers a more casual environment for river views. these photos do not do the rooftop justice! It was cold and so windy that my mask flew down to the street □ ) The Grove has a small rooftop so I would definitely suggest making an OpenTable reservation here as well. The Grove is a casual restaurant and rooftop bar located at City Market. Image provided by Peregrin from Instagram The Grove Savannah You can easily make a reservation on OpenTable, which I love because it is the worst when you show up somewhere that is packed and there isn’t anywhere to go. It offers stunning views and is definitely a place to be seen plus you will most definitely get an Instagram worthy shot. Peregrin located atop the Perry Lane Hotel offers handcrafted premium cocktails and has a more sophisticated vibe. This rooftop has such a great cozy vibe and is the perfect place to watch the sunset with the way it is positioned. This is a great spot to visit right now as they are featuring igloos on the rooftop. The Lost Square is located at the Alida Hotel across the street from the Plant Riverside District and offers panoramic views. If you are looking for a snack try out the shrimp corn dogs. ![]() Electric Moon Skytop Lounge offers a higher energy atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Also don’t miss out on Sunday jazz brunch. ![]() I highly recommend the Ginger Lilly, it was my favorite cocktail in Savannah. Myrtle & Rose is a rooftop garden with breathtaking views of the river and city which you can enjoy while you sip on botanically inspired cocktails. The Plant Riverside District has two great rooftops. Myrtle & Rose and Electric Moon Skytop Lounge at Plant Riverside District Savannah has so many great options! Here are my picks for the best rooftops in Savannah. Whenever I travel I do some research to see if there are any good rooftops.
